| Slug Bait Can Be Fatal Hey, just thought I would let everyone know how dangerous slug bait is for your animals. Right now my little Sasha is at the vet hospital because she got ahold of a slug bait the gardener used in the yard without telling me about. She is all of 4 pounds so even a couple of pellets can be fatal, luckily I caught her within seconds of her eating and rushed her right away to the vet. The vet said since she is doing okay so far she has a fairly good chance of making it, but I am devastated she came to harm right at my feet in my own yard. Please warn your friends that snail and slug bait is very attractive to dogs and cats and extremely fatal. |
