| Hmmmmmm Well I would give him a flea bath, when he is dry, use Frontline Plus on him. Also it might be a good idea to put out flea smoke cans in your home. You will have to be gone for a few hours, but the fleas will be gone when you get home. Frontline Plus works on the flea's and their eggs. This is what a friend had to do, when they were all over her house. Good Luck!

| Frontline plus is not recommended for small dogs, just regular frontline works fine. Start with Capstar. You can get it online at petmeds or through most vets. It will kill all fleas on the dog within a day...most within 4 hours. Seriously consider calling terminex or a pest control company to come and de-flea the house and yard. The bombs are only so effective and it will cost more in the long run if you get re-infested. The little buggers can stay dormant for ages. I had tenants that left a rental property full of fleas and even after bombing and removing carpets...I ended up calling the pest guys in. Not a flea since. It would've cost me much less to do that in the first place. |

| One word: Advantage everytime i've ever used it it worked the first time and they were all GONE! when i first got Crunchy he had them bad (just like yours i could see them on his face), the vet gave me Advantage, you squeeze the whole little tube onto the base of the neck and in like 3 days or less they're all gone for GOOD! and since they say it gets into their bloodstream new fleas cant stay on him b/c they die.

| Lucky for us in Trixie's 2 years we have not had a problem w/ fleas, which is kind of odd since her best pal Flash stays outside most of the time. But in the past, we have used Advantage on other dogs and were litteraly sweeping up dead fleas in the kitchen within a day. |

| I've heard advantage works when nothing else will. One thing too fleas are supposed to really not like lavendar. Maybe if you had lavendar shampoo or something it would help. It would smell good anyway so no harm there! |

| My Vet said that don't give them a bath before you give them the frontline. Wait three days after it has been applied, also if you have just given them a bath to wait 3 days as well... hope this helps.. We were having a problem here with fleas too but it is getting better now. |

| i gave the cat a bath with the dawn and it only STUNNED the fleas.... as i was picking them off they started to 'reanimate' and i started to freak out (she was COVERED in fleas so it took a LONG time and there were a lot that came back from the dead)........ i hate fleas they are gross, thank god we have an almost flea free house..... i only vacume a lot and use flea baths (the fleas come home from my moms house after i bring toby over.... so i give him a bath right away..... only a few have escaped but not many) |

When treating the dogs you also have to treat the enviroment, think that for every flea you see there is 10-100 eggs in the enviroment. Combine the dog treatment (if you used frontline you will be fine) plus use specific products on the enviroment!! In my house i use carpet powders, foggers and sprays!!

| Try a 1/2 of a Brewer's Yeast tablets everyday. This isn't a cure all but it helps. I had a mama cat that was loaded with fleas and was passing them to the kitties, I started giving her a 1/2 tablet a day and within a week they were all flea free! |
