| Is my darling little Bailey a..bully!? When I am home alone with Bailey he is very good, he only occasionally barks, he is sweet as can be I take Bailey with me everywhere, he has never been left in my apt alone. I take him over to my boyfriends and he has two female dogs, one 12 year old weighing 16lbs, she is the alpha dog, and a 7 year old and she weighs 45lbs. As soon as Bailey gets in the door he takes over, he is in the face of my bf's 2 dogs, barking at the top of his lungs. If they have a chew treat, it is no good to give Bailey his own treat, he wants theirs!! I am surprised how patient the alpha Shylah is with him, she even allows Bailey to take her treat from her mouth sometimes! ( she wasn't so patient with him the first time she met him at nearly 4 months, and tried to avoid him, she seems to love him now! ) Sometimes I think Bailey just wants to play, he is only 14 months after all and has boundless energy Is it normal a little yorkie, 3.11lbs to be a little bit of a bully? He also tries to steal their food I know he loves them very much because he gets super excited when we pull into my bf's driveway!

| He has "Napolean Syndrome" You know, when someone is small, they have to show their power and strength moreso to make up for their lack of size He sure is adorable!

| Thanks so much, He does think he is much larger and more powerful then he really is. A Doberman came up to us the other day, He got off his leash and his owner was calling out to him, but I knew he was friendly, Bailey started this little growl, it was very cute

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Quote:
Chanel the toy hog never really wanted them but her goal was to hoard them so Cheri couldn't get to them. At one point she gathered a pretty big stash in another room in a corner and guarded them with her life - poor Cheri never knew what to do and looked at mommy to save her - which I did. This all changed as Cheri grew older and they realized it was fun to play with each other. | |

| My Ruby acts the same way. So sweet on the outside, she plays coy with other dogs, then as soon as they come near her, she lets out a big bark and lets them know who's the boss. However, she did get a little payback the other day, our cat scared her and she actually dropped a poop right on the spot. Payback's a b*tch

| I agree! Bailey should be a model or have his own calendar! And no, he's not a bully. I take Rio to my brother's house and he has several 80 lb. Belgian Malinois and Rio is quite vocal when she's around them. She becomes the regulator! |

| Oh gosh, he and Ginger sound alike... except at home with the others, she is the boss! She is such a lil bully and if there is something she wants - she gets it! She has no problems with barking and giving a little growl to one of the others if they have a toy or chew that she wants - even if she has her own! She even bosses our alpha kitty, Toby. Everyone knows that Toby is the king in our house but for some reason, he will let Ginger run all over him! I just think it makes her that much more adorable!

| ha, ha, ha, Hot Rod is the same. I sometimes call him a brat because he's always grumbling/growling/barking at other dogs. He's such a meanie and very possessive of me. Bailey just wants them to know he's a big boy in a little body. lol

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Rhett rules the house here, though I think it's because Sam lets him My niece's 3.5 lb yorkie tells my BIL's stafford terrier what to do, too. I wouldn't call it bullying, rather being assertive and taking the lead. I love it. |

| Maggie was called a bully twice in one week, once by the vet and once by the trainer. The vet and the trainer does not know each other. Maggie was the second Yorkie to the household. She will take Buster's toys and chew toys. Just walk up to him and take it. If I see her doing it, I will say something but a lot of times I don't see it. I can tell she has taken something from Buster by the way he looks at me and cries. She is a bully but we are working on it.

| My little ones! My Yorkie is very laid back! Until my BF's parrot wants to kick me of the bed then Buddy can get a little upset. For me and the people that know us everyone fears the bird because my dog would just look at you! Where as the bird is the GUARD DOG! |

| That is too cute if he is only 3 lbs. Sounds like he is just excited and maybe trying to assert himself a little as well. |
