| Cheryl Phillips - Breeder in Illinois? Me again.. After losing Lexi and finding this site, I have really been encouraged to find my little guy to help heal my heart... I live in chicago and I just received an email from this breeder. The cost of her male yorkie would be around 550.00. I'm interested but suspicious.. So I asked her for an up to date photo on her male yorkie. Any questions I should ask her? I am willing to visit her. It'll be about a 2 hour drive for me.. Breeders.NET

| I actually put all those questions down.. She said she's been breeding for 3 years, all at home. I asked her if she could take a picture of him with his mother and sire but she told me this; "I can take one with the mother but she won't let any other dog around her pups right now. I can send a couple of the dad by his self if thats ok, he weights about 4 1/2 lbs he is little. Yes I have sold other pups I get calls every once and awhile from some telling me how they are doing. I sold one to a friend of mines daughter she saved up her money and her parents pid half for her that was their deal. I have a deposit on both of his brothers the buyers came to look at them and the parents." She's pretty much a backyard breeder. Those can be unsafe too, right? I think I am really throwing myself into this too soon. I didn't confirm anything so I think I'm ok.
