| Sorry I've been away,& My BIG fright!! I just wanted to come back and tell you all how sorry I am for not being here like I said I was going to be. Things have been crazy in my life and I just haven't had the time... But Nicky and I are back and we PROMICE to make this place a top priority!! I had a HUGE scare on Monday... My heart just sank... Nicky managed to break free from his harnis and go running around the neighborhood... when I saw the boys water dish overturned, and Nickys lead and harnis and no Nicky panic set in, the worst came to my mind... I thought some big bird came down and got him, or worse he was hit on the road. I then became very angry with myself for leaving my boys out there alone to go in and use the bathroom myself. ( I now do that before they even go out!!) Well I instantly started calling NICKY.... I heard the neighbor out back mumbling something to someone, so I thought maybe he's out back. Then I thought OMG I hope that big mean and nasty dog isn't out. So I hollerd again NICKY WANNA TREAT, omg I then see the bushes moving all around, I hear the husband tell his wife say... Tell her he is over here visiting soon I hear the neighbors wife say, "Angie he came over here for a visit, he is safe" I then half yelled back OH WOW I am glad, then we were face to face I scooped up Nicky and the neighbor said to me, " I know your dogs are your babies and how they are never free to roam, like some of the neighbors around here do. So I was glad I was outside to keep an eye on him. Because I knew that you would be comming looking for him soon." I then thanked her and even gave her a little hug, and she said that he wasn't even there for long before I came to find him. I was happy to know that there are some people left in this world who will look out for little animals... I am glad that I live near one of them. Tonight I am off to get Nicky a new harnis, and a little potted flower to thank my neighbor with. Does my heart good to know that she cares enough to keep a look out for him. I saw her out last night when I was walking the boys and she asked Nicky if he was being a good boy lol. His tail was waggin like crazy. I thanked her again for being his guardian angel and she said, AWE its ok, I know they can slip away sometimes I am just glad that he came over here when he heard me out working in my flower bed. I know that you keep good tabs on your boys so I knew something had to have happened and that you would be comming looking for him, I was very glad to help. She then told me a story about how she and her sister always had small dogs growing up, so she knew that little dogs need more attention, moreso then bigger dogs. We then had a real nice conversation about animals and things of that nature. She said that she is always ready willing and able to help and I shouldn't worry because if it happened again she will be on the lookout, that I was a great pet mama and i don't need to worry about that one insadent. Made me feel even better. Ok I am now off my soap box lol... Glad to be back among my fellow yorkie friends!! Nicky and Angie

| Thanks ladies, Yep... I was terrified, Nicky is my baby... Little boy etc. Hes also my shadow, always at my feet, or just behind me. So if something happened to him Id be more then devistated!! I know how they can have a mind of there own, lol one of Nickys nicknames is little stinker... he's always steeling a toy from Rocky. lol Several years ago I had a Miniture Schnauzer, OMG he was ALWAYS breaking free and roaming around. That was when I put in a runner for him but he had moments where he would break free from that too... He was a major pain sometimes... but I loved him none the less!! I think its the terrier in them that makes them stubborn little mules lol But we love them and that is what makes them a joy sometimes is that they have a free spirt and aren't afraid to let ya know that too lol

| I usually don't let my boys be outside without me either, it was just a fluke thing, I thought what can happen... Well now I know and I make sure that I use the bathroom or do whatever before my boys go out, I learned my lesson!! I am glad it turned out in my favor too!! I would be lost without my babies and I would NEVER forgive myself if something had happened to him!!

| So happy to hear your neighbor found and kept your baby with her, until you were able to call out for him. You have a very special neighbor. Please don't be so hard on yourself for your little baby getting loose. Things like this happen. I think it is so sweet of you to buy a thank you gift for your neighbor. |
