Anyone else calls them pup? Rocky-doodles is 3.5 years old, but I still refer to him as my pup. "I have a Yorkie pup" I say, "he is 3.5 years old". I don't know why, but Yorkies are so small, it just feels like they are always little. Anyone else do this?

I've only had Buddy for a month and I call him pup (he's 1). My husband said that, with a little yorkie, he will always be a puppy.

I don't call my Bailey "pup" but find most people who meet us for the first time do call her pup. When I tell them she's 10 years old, they find it hard to believe. Some who have never met a Yorkie before can't understand that my little mite is full-grown.

I've thought about this word, regarding yorkies...I've just come to the conclusion that "dog" is way to big of a word to call our babies...In fact, I've always referred to all my canines as dogs, exept these yorkies...They seem to be forever pups to me
