| Max has started marking.... Well my Max has started Marking. He hasn't done it in our house but on walks he will lift his leg up and mark most things... Now for the embarrasing part..... At puppy training he marked the curtain inside, the puppy trainer, her assistant, me twice and another owner! Eeeeek! Was so embarrasing! I can't believe he marked people! Any one have any experience to share?

| Lifting leg? My Deuce is peeing frequently but he still squats. He is 6 months old. I am wondering if it is marking. Today I was able to get him to go on a plastic table cloth to get it checked for a UTI. If that's not it - it may be time to neuter - which I planned on eventually. Are there any other training deterrents I can try if it is marking? M

| We had a trainer and when Bandit goes on walks he is allowed to pee twice, and anything after that is considered marking so we don't let him do it. I'm not sure on how to prevent him from doing it when he's off-leash though. Bandit himself has been marked twice by two other dogs lol. One HUGE cop dog, we were at kick ball and we both brought our dogs and he marked all over Bandit (boy did he need a bath) and then once at the little dog park.. that was embarassing hehe. |
