Donating YT 500 Club Member | Floppy Eared Yorkies Unite! I used to worry all the time about posting pictures of my babies because they do not have ears that stand up. I didn't tape Guinness' ears because I didn't know how to and I really thought it would magically go up. Silly but the vet and the groomer always did a great job and keep the hair cut in a way that vented his ears. (Guinness now lives with my best friend Shea as he needed a home with other dogs that like to play rough and no cats! and he's got a GREAT life and I miss him but I'm so happy he's happy and I hear about him ALL the time) When I picked up Zoe, she was 8 months old and was given to me, because her owners didn't want her anymore. They breed Yorkies and for some reason she was left over. She is a BEAUTIFUL little girl and so friendly and a definite mommy's girl. Doesn't like to play rough, likes to cuddle instead and her ears were never taped either. I clean her ears regularly and when she's itchy I take notice and give her an ear wash (with cotton ball). She's got healthy ears. But she does look differently without the ears standing up and people ask if she's really a Yorkie. So, for those of you who have floppy eared Yorkies, we should post picture so of them so others know our Yorkies when they see them? RIGHT?

| My Chloe has floppy ears... she can be seen in my avatar. My Armani's ears went up with no taping or anything, so I thought hers might too plus she was really sick as a puppy and I was so busy running her from specialist to specialist attempting to get her healthy, that her ears going up or not were extremely low on my list of priorities. No one ever asks what breed she is, they always know she is a yorkie... but many people ask how they can get one with the ears down because they think it is so much cuter Ears up, ears down, or one of each... you should never be afraid to post pics of your cutie!

| I think Deenie & Guinness are adorable. Share all you want. I felt the same way about Bella's tail (she basically doesn't have one. Then I realized that just like people there are very few perfect people, in fact I have never met one, so I posted by little tail-less wonder. I love posting pics of her and my other pets too.

| I wouldn't have my floppy-eared Rocco any other way... And as you can see in my avatar, he's smilin' regardless of his ears By the way, Zoe and Guiness are precious

| Floppy eared Yorkies are adorable. I did read because the air does not get inside the ears easily that some are prone to ear infections. Just another thing you Mom's have to worry about. Floppy ears or erect ears ,Yorkies are the cutest. |

| First Sophies were down, then they went up, then they went down, then they went up again except for the very tips. This is how she looks now. I love her look of little antennas picking up alien signals

| Yes I feel as though I rescued them both from my possible future mother in law. She has a horrible habit of only wanting the teeny tiny yorkies....well she got both of these to find out they both surpassed her liking.....My boyfriend bought Happy (the little male) from her for me when I had to get rid of pit bull due to attitudinal issues...I decided a big dog wasnt for me. I welcomed Happy into my home and within 2 weeks had a battle with Parvo and as a result of the Parvo had a bit of sugar shock almost take my little guy out. I fought day and night for a week solid to take care of him and to the vets amazement he is still alive and kicking almost a year later! Then his mother bought yet another yorkie (making it number 5 in her house) she then decided Peaches also got to big for her liking and she she decided to get rid of her as well. Well what else was I to do besides take her!?!?!
