| Need to vent! Hubby took my puppy in for his final shots today. He has been coughing for a while now and the vet said he was fine. Well, today the stupid vet said he couldn't get his shots because he is sick. I want to go there and strangle them. Really! My 3 month old is sick and I knew this but I should have trusted my heart and just taken him somewhere else. Today my hubby will be taking him somewhere else. They told him that he needed to go to one of the vets that they recommend because it is Korea and they have some partnership with certain non military vets. My hubby told them no, he is going to a vet we decided on before. The only reason we keep going to the military vet is because they need proof of all his shots and stuff for when we leave here. But that is the last time they will see our baby. I'm so frustrated. My little baby is only 3lbs and he has been sick all this time. My biggest worry is that he now has pneumonia or something worse. Please pray for my little angel. He seems fine, but they didn't tell him exactly what's wrong. They just said he is sick. Which more likely means a cold. |

| Hope and pray that he gets better. Do get him seen by a vet soon though bc colds can turn into pneumonia very quickly...

| I hope your little one gets better. You shouldn't have a problem with the military as long as you keep everything from your vet visits. That's what we do. We have never used a military vet.

| Thank you for your replies. The vet my hubby took Oso to only charged $9 for everything. Medicine and a little grooming. I am still in awe. We will keep all his records in order. My hubby is out to the military vet again to make sure he annotate all the shots he's currently gotten and they won't see us again. He should be better by the end of this week. At least that is what we are hoping for. |

| Has your puppy been getting the bordatella vaccine for kennel cough? If so, they can actually show signs of having kennel cough shortly after getting the vaccine. Not saying you should ignore anything because of this but just wanted to let you know. I hope Oso feels better soon. |

| I will keep in mind the blood panel for Friday when we take him back to the vet. They were going to give him 3 shots and one of them was bordatella. Needless to say he didn't get them because of his cold. He has not lost his spirits or otherwise I would have been at the doc as soon as he stopped being his little self. The anxious lack of breath is what he has and now a cough/ or hack. not sure what to call it, it's sort of as if he has a hair ball stuck in his throat and is trying to clear it. He does this a few times a day. But I thought the weird breathing was reverse sneezing or maybe initial collapse trachea which is what the vet said could be too and not to worry. He does that whenever he sees us at the beginning of the day. I hope he gets better because I keep reading all the sad stories in sick Yorkie threads and they get me every time. Thanks for all your replies. |
