| Movin' On Up Well, as some of you may know my Chloe is a picky little girl! She would not touch any dog food other than canned and I really wanted her on dry food for her teeth. Eventually she accepted BilJac which is low quality dog food, but it got her by. Well, I did the requests for samples and I recieved a ton of samples from Diamond. They included the Chicken Soup and the Diamond Naturals. I tried the CS first as it has a 4 star rating and she loved it. I was stoked! My bubble was quickly burst when I called every listed retailer on their website within 100 miles and was told they did not carry the food =(... shipping is ridiculous as well. So, I tried the Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy and she also loved it. It has a three star rating which isn't wonderful, but it is better than the 1 star Bil Jac which is filled with corn. Artemis sent me 12 bags which she didn't like, Canidae sent me 3 which she also turned her nose at, and wellness sent me 3 which she also refused. I guess this is a step in the right direction. At least Diamond naturals has no corn, wheat, or soy. |

| Well, its sounds like you really worked at this. I'm glad you found one she liked. It's strange how hard it can be to find a great food that they will eat. You are a great Mom for sticking to the search, I hope she continues to enjoy her new food that her mommy worked so hard to find. |

| aww... thanks =)! what dosen't help is that the vet continues to push science diet. ahh, it ticks me off to no end - and i come back and give him some facts about corn and grains in a dogs diet, and all the fillers and especially that corn is the 2nd ingredient... last time I even asked him how he could sell such crap! he is an old family friend, but he is an old school vet who sticks to traditional. i hope to move on up to a 5 star food, but at least i don't cringe everytime she eats now! | If your pup did really well on CS maybe you could order a 50 pound bag or something so it would last for a long time and the shipping wouldn't seem like so much since it lasts probably about a year lol. |

| what is the difference in CS and Diamond Naturals... I didn't find many. I think Diamond Naturals had beet pulp, but CS may have that too. I wouldn't know where to put so much dog food... I live in a 2000 square foot home and have 4 daughters, 2 furbabies, and a husband... It's a great idea, if only I had more room! |
