| My daughter is getting a Yorkipoo she doesn't know it yet, she has been wanting one for a while and has put it off until she comes back from Europe (she is backpacking alone in Europe for 3 weeks at the end of this month). Her boyfriend decided to surprise her and just put a deposit on a yorkipoo. Are their temperments pretty similar to yorkies? Is there anything I should tell her about this cross breed? I know she is going to be so excited.

| I have a yorkie poo and she is great. Very protective of me and I'm the Dad. She listens very well. She was really easy to train and she does plenty of tricks. Please post pictures one she gets the yorkie poo she will be really happy. |

| I had a yorkiepoo. BEST little dog I've ever had and he was extremely smart from the start! He was suchhh a lover boy! They have the type of personality where they don't want to lay next to you...it's always ON you which I think is adorable. He slept under the covers too and was a real tunneler. He had a lot of yorkie traits including being stubborn to potty train but it was WELL worth it! Whenever our family gave a "group hug" he'd come up right in the middle of all of us and wag his tail wanting to be picked up. So cute! They don't want to be left out of anything. He never growled at any dog or person in his lifetime...he was just a complete sweetie! RIP my little Brody All i have to say is your daughter will be VERY happy with a yorkiepoo! Good luck! |

| their personalities sound great, she will be so excited when she finds out. Her boyfriend is working with my other daughter and they are brainstorming ways to surprise her with the news before he comes home so she has time to buy everything. it will be interesting to see how my two furbabies react when she brings him over!

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | We absolutely love our Yorki-Poo...he will soon be 6 years old & is by far the sweetest & smartest dog we have ever owned (well, except for a Lab we had). Everyone falls in love with him - he is the bestest kisser ever! LOL!! That is what we tell him every day!

| You never know with a cross breed what traits they will take from each breed. I grew up with toy poodles and love them to death, they are great little dogs and obviously yorkies are also.

They take the personalities of both breeds, at least my yorkie poo did. He is smart and very loyal like the toy poodle and flat out crazy and hard headed like a yorkie. He is a great little dog, very comical to watch and I would definitly own another one!! Your daugther will love hers..
