| Yay! Found a GREAT groomer today! Jackson didn't get groomed today because he just got groomed a few weeks ago... BUT, I am *so* happy I found an awesome groomer today. My dad's two dogs got groomed today. My step-mom found the groomer in the yellow book. She's a mobile groomer so she comes right to your house, has a van all nice and set-up, and she's super nice. I talked to her a bit today and scheduled Jackson's next appt. with her for June 24th. She charges $55 for the full grooming... I pay that now with dropping Jackson off at the groomers... so to me, it's soooo worth it for the van to just come to the house and be in the comfort of his own 'home'. I'm able to either sit in the van with him (which I probably won't, he'd spaz out) but I can peek thru the window and watch! Now, the groomer I take him to now isn't bad, she's very nice and I've always liked the way she groomed Jackson, and he only usually would have to stay for around 3-4 hours so it wasn't an excessive amount of time. So I was very lucky to have her but I'm just really liking the idea of him being right in the driveway, one-on-one with no other dogs, and ZERO crate time! Anyways, just thought I'd post that I found a DEAL because every other mobile groomer I found was around $70-$80 around here. Yay! I'm sure I will ressurect this thread after he gets groomed.

| That's great Britt! My groomer/friend comes to me now also & that's the best thing. She used to have a holistic food & grooming shop but doesn't anymore. We've since became good friends so she now comes to my house. Like you, I especially like the fact that there is no crate time as my girls would always be short of having a heart attack in them so that right there is a major plus. Very cool!

| That's just wonderful. You won't really have any lost time now. To me, three to four hours is excessive. I have lots of other things to do. I never would leave mine that long. If they couldn't do mine in as little as 45 minutes to 1.5 hrs then they didn't get my business.

| That sounds like a pretty good deal to me I called one that I saw around our area and she said she wasn't taking any new customers at this time but for a small dog she charges $90 I thought that was a little to much for me, more now that I have three that need groomed. |
