| Anybody use doggie houses for their yorkie? Madison loves to go under our bed. so much so that we put a donut bed of hers under there so at least she'd be comfy. At night when we are home and watching tv, Madison will sometimes go under our bed. My husband will go get her to have her be with the family. She has 3 other beds in the family room to choose from. I'm considering a little soft type doggiehouse for her to see if she'd go in that instead in the evening. Anyone out there have a little doggie house that their babies are using? |

| I have a soft sided crate open all the time in my room for my kiddos to go into when they want someplace to "hide"... they always have a bed and blanket in there and various toys that they are hiding from me or each other One or both of them spend time in there everyday. I got it at bed bath and beyond it was under 20 bucks and it folds up into a bag if needed... which is perfect for taking on vacations and using in the hotel.

| Callie has always slept in my room and when she was a puppy I put a blanket over 3 sides of her crate because I was afraid she would get cold due to my ceiling fan. When she was trained and no longer needed the crate I put a big dog pillow under my desk and would cover her up with a blanket but she would come uncovered in the night so I bought a soft doggy house on ebay and ever sense day one she has chosen the doggy house over the pillow and sense my room is pretty small and after a year of her not using the pillow I just have the dog house in my room. There is a little pad in the bottom of the dog house but I also put a blanket my mom knitted her in there. When I tell her its bed time she goes to bed in her doggy house.

| My two got a little dog house made of fabric for christmas from ou granddaughter. I keep it in the living room, but they never get in it. They want on our laps if we are watching tv or on the computer. I use it as a toys box.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | My girls had one - all they did was WRESTLE in it as you can see by the photo - the house is sideways - Chanel is on her back laughing and Cheri is trying to get back in so they can wrestle some more they never slept in it edited to add - it was pretty entertaining to watch the house roll across the foor all by itself with little grunting noises coming from it

| This is Sophie's Doggie Den in our living room as it was decorated for Christmas. The second is when we brought her home as a puppy. She's always liked it. We leave the door open and she likes to go in it to take naps during the day if she's not on the couch. It's her own little space.

| We have one fabric house for her, but she has never used it. She has a bed in each room but she prefers her part of the couch with a blanket under her. I believes she views the entire house as hers, so she feels she does not need no stinken small dog house. She is not a dog. |

| I loved reading all the responses. When Madison was a puppy and we first brought her home we had our crate set up for her in our room and would keep her in it when we weren't home, Then as she grew and was house trained we kept the door open so she could go in and out of it. But the crate is old and ugly although it served its purpose. I got tired of looking at it. so we removed the crate but kept all the bedding in the spot the crate was.. thats when she started going under the bed. I think they like the 'cave' aspect. Thanks for all your responses. I'm gonna buy a doggie house. I found this one on ebay. I ordered it and can't wait to see what the dogs do with it. |
