| Taking Pictures..? Does anyone else have trouble taking pictures of their yorkies? When spanky was a puppy I didnt have any trouble but now if I just go to get a camera out he's gone! My lil Darla is deathly afraid of one too, tried to just putting it on the floor or where ever & let her smell it and maybe get used to it or at least see that it wont hurt her but no way not having it! What do I do??? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Turn off the Flash if you can... and try to get shots outside - while you take the pictures ...they'll get used to the camera in your hand and there won't be a flash to scare them...mine don't like the flash at ALL and shut their eyes BEFORE I take a picture - I did lots of outside shots and now they're fine |

| I knew Villette would have the answer! All the great pictures she takes!!! I'm glad you started this thread, I can get pictures of Princess, but Poncho is a different story, I guess I'll bring him out side, after the rain. Have a good day all!

| I agree! Thank goodness for digital cameras. I take 20 pictures, keep 1, and delete the rest! Hopefully as she gets older her modeling career will take off because right now its non-existence.

| LOL - Looking at all the cute pictures on this site, I was beginning to think our little Guy is the only camera-shy yorkie around! He doesn't run from the camera, but he steadfastly refuses to look at it. Nearly every picture we have is a profile because he ALWAYS turns his head away! |

| Thank God for digital cameras indeed. I take a bunch of shots until I get a good one. She always moves. I dont think she minds the flash, since I take mist of my pics indoors. |

| First of all I love the names of your babies. I used to have a pom who's name was Natasha and a monster of a dog (mut) named Boris. My Gus used tow run and hide when he seen the cam too. He's not as bad as he used to be. We take lots of pictures and now that I finally got a digital cam,,, we go a little cam crazy.
