The vet wanted to keep him overnight.... I'm so sad I had to take Tucker back to the vet tonight because he really doesn't seem to be back to himself yet. The vet tested him for pancreatitis last week and it was negative but she still seems to think that he could still have a case of that so she wants to keep him tonight and tomorrow and possibly tomorrow night also to give him IV's of meds and electrolites because she thinks he seems to be getting dehydrated somewhat also. So hard to leave him there but I really want him to get better. It was just a year ago that we were goint throught this same thing with Tobie before we found out his liver was failing and we had to put him down. Hopefully with a lot of prayers this will not turn out anything like that but it's so hard thinking about it. Please Tucker just get better.

You have our best wishes that he makes a fast recovery, and it is best that he remain at the Vet for fluids and observation. Ours had Pancreatitis 2 times about 7 years ago, and it was very scary. The diet change has been miraculous. Syay positive and calm.

Oh my, I have been there. I sure hope your baby responds well to the treatments and is home again soon. It sure is hard to leave them at the vet, but it can make all the difference in the world, to have the recovery jump started with intense hydration and medication. God bless the vet with wisdom.

| Sending special prayers for Tucker. It's really hard to leave him. I know. I hope he'll be himself again and there won't be any recurrences.

The vet called me today to give me an update on Tucker, said that he had IV's all night and into this am and he tube fed him with barium in it so that he could make sure that it made it all of the way through him with no blockages which was ok. Did a heartworm check which was negative and said theres was no vomiting or diarhea today also. He thinks that it could have been a case of gastritis or a mild case of pancreatis. They kept him yet tonight and tomorrow for a little more observation but he said he feels good about it because all of the tests are coming back good. I just hope that he will start eating and gain some of the weight back that he lost. Hopefully I can find a food that will agree with him and he will like. I hope that he will be able to come home tomorrow. I sure miss my little guy.
