| Watch for Hawks! I've seen hawks in my neighborhood a lot the past few weeks. Now I don't live in the country, I'm 3 miles from downtown. Just wanted to remind everyone, just because you have a fenced yard, hawks can still get our babies. |

| Also, Coyotes. They will get over an 8 foot fence. Get a Large Cane Corso to protect your Yorkie from Coyotes! |

| Very scary! I'm definitely much more aware of these wildlife predators now. People laugh at me, but I don't care. Nothing is worth losing my babies.

A Cane Corso is a rare breed that comes from Southern Italy where they are used as Guardians on Farms to keep the critters and bad guys away. They are not for everyone, and need a ton of early socialization and training. They can be dog agressive, and usually are close only to immediate family, and leery of everyone else. My guy loves everyone, especially the little kids and the elderly...is a great guardian, and the protector of the Little Yorkie. He always goes out when she does, and just stands there looking and watching. He is 125 pounds of Scoobie Doo, but he is a terrific friend. | |
