| Yorkie as Ring Bearer? Hi everyone! I'm getting married next year and would like my dog, Scooter to be my ring bearer He will be accompanied by our other dog, Peanut (a cockapoo - flower "girl"). I have a pet handler (one of my friends) assigned to be responsible for my dogs during the ceremony. Does anyone have any experience dealing with dogs or cats at a wedding ceremony? I would love to hear insights from you all! On a side note, to know more about our wedding and the style....pls. read/vote for our story at Renaissance Studios Photography BIG Win Your Wedding Photography Contest 2011 | Ontario - Princess & Nigel: colour, cats & candy! Thanks |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Congratulations on your upcoming wedding - My oldest had his 2 weenie dogs in his wedding - it was a beach wedding where we spent every summer and just beautiful.....They wore little bow ties and walked the 'isle' like little gentlemen.... the funniest part was when one went UNDER one of the Bridesmaids dress during the ceremony and kept peeking out at us all - I have pictures on a disk or I'd be posting them - but it was great ! He also proposed by putting the ring in a little box dangling from his little Mikey's collar - this is a small photo of him with the ring

| 2 Greyhounds and 2 Yorkies at out wedding! When we got married our "Bestman" and Maid of honor" were Greyhounds and we had 2 ring bearers...our yorkies. I made a "Tux" collar for Jesse and a beautiful collar for Flash that had roses and pearls on it. The yorkies each had ultra-suede collars that matched my dress with gold lace to match the rings. I'll try to get some pictures and get the over to you. For us it was awsome! We each had a Grey and our witnesses each had a Yorkie! Good luck and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Deb

| my mom is getting married in June and as a way for my stepdad to make a mends with me over something stupid he did wrong he asked Gatsby to be his best man. which is fun because that means i get to do everything that my mom is not doing. but we hired a wedding planner that would help us include both Gatsby as best man and my moms pug as ring bearer what we are doing is getting a tiny little hat made that is a sheer covered pillow on top and tucking the rings inside the sheer cover pocket that was the only way we could figure out how to do it

| I saw an absolutely adorable video of a wedding where the flower girl and ring bearer were a couple of tiny dogs, don't remember what kind, but instead of walking down the aisle on leash, they were put in a little wagon that was all decorated with the wedding flowers and pulled down the aisle by a couple of kids. Had the ring on a pillow in the wagon with them. |
