| I completely understand your concerns, I had homes lined up for the babies before the breeding ever happened, And if you research yorkiechons online you will find that they make wonderful little dogs, And there are lots of people out there that are looking for them. You get the best of both breeds in these little guys, when you are careful in using the right set of parents. I agree that there are some people out there just breeding just any ol dogs together, and not making sure that they can find homes for the puppys, and that is disturbing when that is the case...but to be fair, every pure bread breed out there started from a cross of something or other. But I would never do this without going my homework first. and to lessen the chance that any of my puppys end up in a shelter, I tell everyone that takes one of my puppys that I offer a lifetime placement, If for any reason they cannot keep their puppy that I will take it back and make sure it finds another good home.. So yes there are lots of people doing the wrong thing when it comes to breeding, but its not fair to condemn everyone.

It is really great that you take so much time in placing your puppies! Do you have a spay/neuter contract to prevent the cycle from containing? As for the people out there that want them, if they are not available, they can't buy them! Would love to see pics of your stock you are using? I am not familiar with the Bichon breed.

One should never tell a breeder they'd give the dog back and then not - of course just because someone was the breeder doesn't mean that's the best home to go back to. | |

The breeders are responsible to follow up with the new owner.

| Ok first of all yes I have a spay neuter contract. second of all, My babies only go to people that I know personally and trust completely! they do NOT go to strangers, I don't advertise them. and as far this litter, I think I can trust my Mother and my Brother, Both of them have been waiting on one, One of The female in the litter is going to my vet, who is a friend of the family,(think I can trust her huh?) One of the males is going to my nest door neighbor who is a licensed dog groomer.and I am keeping the last one. someone ask earlier what size they get. well My Bichon ( the mother) is 10 lbs, and my yorkie(the dad) is 8 lbs. My other Bichon who is the grandmother weighs 12 lbs. so the puppies generally end up between,9 and 12 lbs. My neighbor has a male from our litter last year he is 1 now and he weighs10 lbs. someone else remarked bout getting a "grooming nightmare" well that is not the case, they are very easy to groom, having soft wavy hair, they do not shed, so you do need to brush them no less then once a week,(which everyone should do regardless of the breed) now someone else ask about temerment, they are not as hyper as the yorkie can be, but they like to play a little more then the Bichons do.their energy level is medium.their hair is much easier to manage then the bichon and they are sturdier then the yorkie, so they can play with children, of coarse one pup may act more yorkie when grown, or one may act more Bichon. but the same is true with a pure bred yorkie, no two are alike when it comes to personality.and I take this into consideration when helping my buyers choose their puppy, for example, Im not going to let my mom take one of the more rambunctious puppys, she has a slow paced life, so I showed her the more laid back babies, as requested I will include a pick of the parents. Oh and in 6 yrs we have only had 4 litters of puppys from 2 different mothers, I am not in it for the money. I take very good care of my dogs and their puppys, they all live in my home, and not in cages. they sleep in our beds, and eat only high quality food.I decided to share the pics becuse Riley has an app next month for his neutering, and this will be the last litter thats why we are keeping one of the babies..I was just trying to share some cute pics. everyone is entitled to their opinion, but so am I.

| I know someone that has a Yorkiechon and it is the cutest and sweetest dog I have ever known. She is over 2 now and just as cute as she was when she was a puppy. She has a wonderful temperment. If I did not already have a Yorkie, I would love to have a Yorkiechon. I also know someone that has a AYorkie Pug mix, and he is just the cutest and sweetest thing. |
