| Update on Ella I posted a few months back about my Yorkie Ella. We got her from a lady and after having her for a week she still wouldn't eat or get up and move around. She was terrified of us and we were concerned that she wasn't going to make it because she was so extreme. Well, she eventually came around and started becoming her normal Yorkie self around us. All was well until one night she nipped at my son (5). We weren't happy about it but she only weighs 5 lbs. so she has to be protective so she doesn't get hurt. She ended up doing it again a few days later and we said were going to have to find her another home without children. That night we found a Yorkie/Shih-tzu mix on the internet in our area. We went and got him the next day. When we got home with him(Max), she growled for a brief second then ran up to him and they did the sniffing game for a few minutes. We were still in the mind set we were getting her a new home. We watched her for a few days and it was like a complete turn around for her. She became extremely protective of my son and gets along perfectly with Max. So, in a matter of about 3.5 months we went from having 0 dogs in our family to having 2 who are now part of our family. Ella is like a little mother to Max. He is a little over twice her size and she will make him lay down so she can lick his eyes clean or whatever she wants to do. I just wanted to give an update and to let everyone know that I received excellent information on here when I really thought I was going to have to take her back. I can't imagine our house without her. Thanks so much. |

| What wonderful news for Ella! She gets to stay. I'm happy she has a friend and a great family.
