| bum shot..sorry trimming question could anyone tell me if I'm trimming correctly? marked pics with ? I think his bum looks a little "fuzzy" should I trim the areas marked more? also his ear pic? I think his feet are right, I hold them flat & just trim around the foot, at least that's what I try to do. Does he look o.k.? |

| I think that he looks great. Good job. The only thing that I do is cut a bit more hair on the bum below the area, on the sides. lol, this was our evening last night...Hot Rod has been having issues the last couple of days getting poo stuck on him. I gave them both a bath and a much needed trimming back there. Also, I think that this is a matter preference, but I hold the tail up (on Hot Rod) and pull the beigey hairs down and trim that away. So basically all he has are black hairs on his tail. Maggie is silver and tan so I just leave her alone.

| I think you did good. Do you have a trimmer? If so, and can do it, you might want to trim the bum with it.

he doesn't have much of a tail, I can't even hold it up, it is more of a stub I think they cut it off to much

| What a cute bum that is. Good job. If you think it's too fuzzy try using the Wahl moustache trimmer. It gives a really clean shave to the area. It's also good on the pads. |

yes I have a trimmer. used it on his belly area a bit this morning. but, ya it is his bum area that I'm not happy with & not to sure about how much to trim off. so I will try again & take off the "fuzzy sides" of his bum hair.

| Yes I have a little trimmer "finishing touch" it is called & I also have the small Wahl trimmer that I used on his bum & belly. I tried to do his pads once, but I was really scared I would cut him. But I do need to do his pads again for sure. Boy, once you start trimming areas you can really notice how fast the hair is growing. |

That's so true. I was afraid at first as well but it does not cut them. Don't use it around the ears tho because it will cut the ears. I go between the pads a bit because the hair just grows inbetween so much.
