♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | any tips for when I bring home my rehome yorkie? I'm waiting on when to pick him up but it could be as soon as tomorrow night! My 18 mth yorkie girl met him last Friday in his house and didn't take to him however it was on his terrritory and 2 kids running around.I hope Im doing the right thing. He is a year old on April 10 not neutered and very lively. Does anyone have any tips to making their second meeting go more smoothly than the first? This time it will be on her territory.

| Take them for walks together (neutral territory)... Do not baby him, you have to make your girl first priority, she needs to feel her place in the home is not changing, etc... It takes about 2 weeks, and then there should be friemdship (LOL) Best Wishes |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Congrats! Definitely show your little girl a lot of attention and try not to make a big fuss over the new one, even though it is hard. Last month I took in a 13 plus male yorkie from a lady who rescued him 2 years ago. The lady spent 24/7 with him until her stroke and when I brought him home he attached himself to me immediately and started going after my 3 girls if they came near me. Fortunately he has no teeth so he can't hurt them. I received some great advice on here about not spoiling him and doing everything for my 3 first. He is starting to get along better with my 3 after a month. He also started humping my Pixie and he is neutered and old!!
