| Shy at the dog park Callie is very social she loves people and dogs. But when we took her to the dog park the first sunday it was really nice there where a lot of little dogs in the little dog section and she was acting very shy. She would hid behind me looking around at everyone her tail wasnt down it was up and waggin and when she would play she would not go very far from me and when she noticed she was getting like 5 feet away she would run back to me also she was rolling over onto her back a lot. Before winter she was little miss queen of the dog park and would always look back to make sure I was still sitting on the bench but would go all around not taking water breaks unles I made her . Does she just need to get back into the swing of the dog park sense its been a long time sense she was at the dog park? Me and my mom where thinking of taking her durning the week when there are less people for awhile and then go on the weekend after a couple of weeks of her just going when theres not as many dogs. Can they just get overwelmed by so many dogs?

| My thoughts are that she was a bit overwhelmed by too many other dogs. She's become a little bit shy and submissive (rolling over onto her back) to other dogs. I like your idea of going during the week, too, and then on the weekends because it has been awhile since she has been there. It sounds like she was having fun, but was just a little shy and unsure of herself.

| Sounds like she maybe just had to get used to the swing of things again since she hadn't been in so long!
