| advice please? billie is 6 yr old female. ralphie is 1 yr old male. we're into our third week with ralphie. so far billie is mopey and depressed with us (its fine) but seems ok with ralphie and very tolerant of his high energy levels. i keep them in side by side separate ex-pens when i am not home. my question is, whether i can merge the 2 ex pens into one large expen and have both dogs in there together? thanks!

| Hmmm... I think I might give it another week or so since the girl seems mopey. Have you ever left them in a room by themselves and peeked in on them?

| If they are getting along all the time, then I would not worry. Usually a male and a female will get along great. |
