| New dog and cats of the house Ok so I brought home my new baby tonight. The cats have seen her and don't seem to be thrilled. Should I see what happens when they are near each other? The girl cat has already hissed and little lady has already growled back. Im nervous, just want everyone to get along. Any tips?? Thanks |

| You have good reason to be nervous. Many a yorkie has had their eyes scratched or other scratching injuries. Don't rush it, but I would try to keep them apart for a time and just introduce them slowly to each other. I would also make sure the litter boxes are in a location your puppie can't eat the litter or its contents, because that will probably happen and then you will have a very sick puppy.
