| yorkie or silky? Okay so the lady said she was a yorkie, infact said she was a 'teacup yorkie' i do not have her "paperwork" yet..she said she had to find it and would mail it to me. I am not sure if she meant papers for registration or just shot records. She was free and I was after her personality more then her breed. But after doing a little more research I am confused now as to WHAT breed she is lol she has wavy silky hair and is very light colored. also long bodied, but I oculd just feel she is long because I have a cairn terrier, and my cairn is short bodied. anyhow here are some pictures. Her face picture is my avatar shot. she is 2 years old and weighs 8.4 pounds and is not fat. I can feel her little spine bumps on her back. help? |

| She's cute as can be. She is yorkie, I'd say. Many yorkies lighten as they mature. Her hair is probably wavy because it is cut into different lengths. Probably if it was all the same length it would be straight.

| Welcome to YT! She is........adorable, sweet, beautifully colored and lucky to have you. Other than that it doesn't matter as it is nothing more than a guess. Why would you not believe what the lady told you? Just curious.

| Thank you to everyone! i just adore her! she slept in bed with me last night and was such a cuddler!! she never moved all night just slept right up against me. She is VERY housetrained as well, its rather cute to watch her bark at the door and then run out very fast do her thing and run back even faster! I have bells on my door that my cairn uses, and I think Karma is getting the idea down already! she bumped them with her nose a bit ago stared at them then barked. She loves being right next to me, if not IN my lap and that is EXACTLY what i wanted!!! We are going to head to petco now for some SHOPPING! thank you all so much! |

No Yorkie is a "Teacup". A yorkie is a yorkie, that's it. A Yorkie, by AKC standards is 7lbs and under. Mico Mini, Teacup, miniature etc. are all terms used to get extra cash from back yard breeders and other breeders not dedicated to the breed. She's a beauty, enjoy. | |

| Oh my gosh, she looks sooo much like Jackson. His hair is also like that! I've heard multiple people tell me he's a Silky (he's 12lbs) but I don't really know.
