| does your yorkie make weird noises? Bob isn't much of a barker, but he makes a lot of other strange sounds. Right now he's asleep on a chair, and he's making this grumbling, mumbling sound. He also has kind of a whine when I pick him up, although he doesn't seem to mind being picked up at all. I've never had a dog that made so many different sounds. At first I wondered if he was in pain or had some type of respiratory problem, but when I mentioned it to the vet, she said he seems to be in excellent health. weird. |

| Yes, he makes alot of noises... BUT my all time favorite is..... when he yawns.. he makes this, "ahhhh" noise,, almost like a human, yawn, tired noise. It cracks me up everyday.

| Mac especially makes alot of weird noises. I'm waiting for him to start purring one of these days when he gets a belly rub.

| Lots of noises here too! Especially when Cooper is sleeping -- grunts, whines, unexplainable sounds. Carter talks when he wants something - not a bark, not a whine . . . truly talks. Now to get him to say "mama" and "I love you"!

| Isn't it funny all their sounds? Schatzie has different Yorkie words for things she wants. Amazingly enough I have learned her language. Those times when I want to "ignore" her with her wants, she wont allow me to do so. "Yorkinese" is just not something one can ignore, LOL.

| I hear Roxie in the middle of the night. At first I was concerned but realize she is just sleeping deeply and obviously very comfortable because when I turned on the light she rolled on to her back and snuggled deeper. I would swear if she could talk she would talk in her sleep and boy what I wouldn't give to hear what she was saying.

| Ok so them making almost a sqeauking/grunting noise when you pick them up is normal. Phew! i always felt so bad like I was being to rough with him. He sounds like when your brakes are worn down and need to be changed hahhahaha. And it's funny because my pekingese teddy sounds like a car engine. What are the chances of getting two dogs who sound like car parts?
