| I groom them myself. I only take them in to get their nails clipped as they won't let me do this. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | He was about 6 months, I think. He was born in May and we wanted his hair short when the snow flew in October.

| Schatzie went to "visit only" when she was about 4 months. I just let her meet the groomer, sniff around and kinda get used to her surroundings. No grooming took place during her first and second visit. She went for her first actual grooming when she was about 6 months I think.

| I took Roxie around 5 months of age. I was afraid if I took too long she would be frighten of everything. I made sure I used the blow dryer and turned on the clippers (never actually used the clippers) at home and she was used to having her feet, private areas, and face touch before taking her in.

| Princess meet her Groomer at around 4 months, She had her nail done at that time, and again at 5 months. She had her first trim at 6 months. I wanted her to see she was going to be OK. My Groomer will not put Princess in a crate, when I take her she always goes in, they take care of her, and she goes out. The first place I took her to, they wanted to keep her for 4 1/2 hours. I thought that was way too long, so we left. Then I was lucky, and found a Groomer who also Breeds Yorkies. I know she is always in good hands when I take her, and it only takes about an hour and a half. She calls me right before she's done, so I can be right there to get her.
