| Need major advice!! Okay so I really want to adopt this gorgeous 3 yr old female coton de tulear. However, school is not allowing me as finals are coming up. After that, I can because my classes will be easier (I will ONLY have school 2 out of 5 days a week!!). I have two yorkies: a male and a female. They are both still pups (6 + 7 months old). Should I adopt her and after this month, everything will be okay. I hate to pass this opportunity. or should I just forget it? Gosh, what have these yorkies turn me into!??!?!? I am obsessed with dogs now!!! If I could, I WOULD live in the middle of nowhere with dogs Even after having dogs, I have been considering switching to become a vet tech. I am almost 20 and don't know exactly what I want to do. I used to want to help people, which is why I majored in psychology. Now, as I got older, I realize (sorryy!!) it's not PEOPLE that need help, it's the ANIMALS that need help because of US. If I could, I would adopt all the animals in the shelter because they don't deserve to be there but then I can't. My family is freaking out because I got a B last quarter and it lowered my gpa to 3.87, which is not good enough, but it really seems like NOTHING is EVER good enough!!! I'm so stressed that I hate life. The only thing that makes me smile is watching my babies happy, which is why I LOVE bringing them to dog parks. I wish there's off leash trail so I can run with them ( I used to do cross country). Okay, sorry, I am rambling now. So, what should I do? adopt or not adopt? Thanks for listening and helping me out.

| Wow! We sound like we're in the same boat. I am also almost 20, at local community college, unsure of what to do. Owning Jackson has made me dog-crazy (ha!) I've loved dogs my whole life (I used to 'study' my dog breed book). But now I realize how much I TRULY love it. If I can find a career working with dogs, I will be a happy woman. I really enjoy training. I also enjoy my time at the dog parks with him! I've been contemplating for a LONG time now on adding a second dog. Jackson is my "best pal" and I love him so much and I know he would love a brother or sister. I live at my mom's house and her dog died last summer and he's been real lonely ever since... I miss having 2 dogs around. But at the same time, I had the best of both worlds because both my mom and dad's homes where I frequent had dogs so I had the pleasure of "having" two dogs but only owning one, LOL. Adding a 2nd that's fully my responsibility scares me a bit. But anyways, I'm rambling. I'm waiting until I just KNOW it's the right time. I think you just... know when a certain dog is yours and only yours! I suppose I'm waiting for the "perfect" dog. So my answer to you would be: go with your heart. If you know in your heart you can provide this dog an amazing home and you're up for it... go for it!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | She's very cute. It may be taking on a lot right now and what will your future (past next semester) schedule be? I think a 3.87 GPA is great!!! If you feel you can afford time wise and financially it could work out. I know these babies get addicting. I have 4 right now and I am at my limit. Keep us posted.

| Thanks you guys!!! I think I am going to at least check her out. I know I will regret it if I don't. My family is SUPER tough on academic so if I get a B this quarter, I will get a whole bunch of lecture like last quarter. My family, other than my dad, are well off...My uncle went to Stanford with full scholarship they put a lot of pressure on me although they say "just try your best" I know they are just trying to be nice. My uncle already told me no more dogs. It's an addiction!!
