| Ah, maaan. Tila's big I went into the city today for a day out. I took Tila with me, she got lots of attention. Everyone loved her, she loved everyone. There was one young woman who looked at her and said she's big for a yorkie eh. I looked her straight in the eye and said she's not big. Maybe I scared her, I didn't think I sounded mean. But maybe I did. lol. She then said, oh it must be her hair that makes her look big. Um, okay. lol. |

| Everyone ALWAYS has to comment how "oh your yorkie is cute. It looks like so and so but waaaaaay bigger". OMG don't people know yorkies are standard size if they are 7 lbs and under??? Uni is 5 lbs and she gets that comment ALL THE TIME! "Oh she's big for a yorkie! oh is she a mix?" Most people are just uneducated. Either try to educate them or ignore them.

yea, people are really mis-informed. for a while i tried to educate people about the whole "there is no such thing as a tea-cup yorkie" but i had given up since then, people are too sure that there IS such a thing as a teacup yorkie, telling them otherwise is really a waste of time. (when i tell them there is no such thing as a tea cup yorkie, they look at me like i am uneducated.)

| What is it about Yorkies that compels people to lose all sense of decorum and blurt out their uninformed assessments? It's as if the world is a show ring and everyone is a judge. |

| I think some people really don't know a lot of information on yorkies, they all think they are supposed to be these small "tea cup" dogs you see celebrities have. I had one lady tell me, "I don't like the black yorkies" I think she meat she doesn't like them when they are babies, and some people don't even realize that yorkies change colors, ugh. |

| Yeah, I just don't understand how people can think yorkies are big. I guess I kinda sounded mean, but it's just I don't understand how small people expect them to be. I just laughed when I got into the car. I love my baby, she's perfect. |

| People are insane sometimes, I have had someone look at Maddie before and tell me they want one like her but smaller She is 2.5lbs on a good day. I told them "good luck with that" I didn't want a dog this tiny when I bought her I though she would get bigger. I honestly hardly take her out anymore because it gets annoying hearing all the ignorant things people have to say about dogs and size. I think some people should forget about dogs and get a hamster instead.

| Sunshine is big and I love it ,he is 9+ lbs. It gives me a chance to educate people on the breed standard . Funny his parents are quite a bit smaller than him . Dad 3.5 and mow just under 7 . I like his durable size . just makes packing him a bit more chalenging . Steve

| Wow, some people can be rude and insensitive. I am glad I have never encounter those types of people. I always get nice comments when people meet Josh. People's negative comments about my dog would not bother me, because my dog is just not for them. |
