| I'm not sure what to even say...2 weeks? As in the dog is 2 weeks old? My advice to you: buy a book on puppies. Heck, buy a book on dogs. Pay close attention to how old a small breed puppy should be before coming to a new home. Pay attention to the entire book for the sake of that poor puppy.

| PHEW!! Oh my gosh thank you for that. Well for one, there's no such thing as a Teacup dog. I personally would avoid buying an overly small Chihuahua. They could come with tiny dog health issues like heart and joint problems. A great book is Chihuahua's For Dummies. Not to mention Chihuahuas, although feisty, are not terriers like Yorkies. I know because I fostered two of them. I found the Chis were less trusting of people than Yorkies. They were also more shy and both of them used to pee when they were scared or intimidated. They were great cuddlers and had hilarious personalities. They're smarter than a whip and love to be trained. Just treat them like a dog though. Don't over coddle! And put the darn thing on the ground with a leash and collar just like any other dog. I find the Chihuahuas that are nasty nippers are the ones that are constantly carried by their owners. Yes they're small, so like Yorkies, you have to watch them, but let them be dogs too! Lots of socialization with lots of different people and dogs will make him/her friendly.
