| Experiment... My mom requested today that I let Kaji's hair grow. This from the woman that would run from him just 3 months ago. She said that she liked the way he looked before he came home. Now.. the thing is he has a cottony coat. Does anyone have a baby with a cottony coat and long hair? First 2 pics are of him before he came to live with us, and last two are current pictures of my lover boy!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Aww what a cutie. My Cali and Roxie both have cottony coats and they are in full coat and they look nice but they are harder to maintain than Pixie my silky coated one.

| Oh yes, he definately has that terrible cotton coat. I have one just like him and there is no way I would let her coat grow long..........no way, no how!

| He looks absolutely adorable both ways, of course, but I prefer the shorter look. Think it makes them look more puppy-like! I also like the hair out of their eyes.

| Reesie has the cotton coat and I've started to let it grow just like you have. I wanted her hair longer around her face and even have something to fasten a bow to near her ears. The fur on top of her head is silky but her body is all black cotton. Every morning I get out the little brush, put a towel on the table, and then put her up there for a brush-out. At first she didn't like it but now waits patiently while I get everything ready. Yesterday I was gently brushing around the top of her head and she put her nose against my chest and her eyes were closing, so I think I'm doing it right. My wife thinks she looks better with the puppy cut and maybe that's what I'll have done once winter is over. |

| For those of you that let the hair grown, is it all their hair? Just the hair on their back? What do I do with the hair on his tummy and legs, do I trim that or let it grow? I'm afraid that if I let it all grow he'll look like a walking powder puff, or a walking afro!!
