| Face washing tips I bought the Spa Fresh facial scrub (blue berry and vanilla). Love it!! Thanks for the recommendation. Does anyone have any detailed tips on washing the little fur babies faces? |

| I just use a tiny round sponge to do my girls faces because they hate having their faces washed. I just soak the water up into the sponge and gently squeeze the water out onto their face. I do the tops of their head this way too.

| No problem! I also find that a little flea comb works great for getting the eye gunk out. I prefer the plastic ones for this, but I'd imagine any fine toothed comb would work.

| I use a warm wet wash cloth and a soft piece of paper towel very wet. I wipe the whole face down first with the wash cloth. Then I wet the corner of the eyes real well with the wet paper towel. I use a flea comb (very carefully) to drag the eye goop out. I have to re-wet fairly often to get it soft enough to comb out without hurting my baby. The flea comb also works well to get out burrs. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I think I might add a big sponge to Thor's bath routine. He absolutely hates getting his face washed - I think it's really scary for him to have water running over his nose. I use a pitcher of water now, but a sponge squeeze sounds more gentle. Thanks for the tip. |

| I use a baby tooth brush to gently scrub the eye snout area works great with a little tearless shampoo.

| I use baby washcloths for mine. They are softer and not as big-which really helps her! And, I use the flea combs to clean out the eye goop. |

| Great Tips! Thank you everyone for the great tips! I also battle when it's time to wash Snickers's face! I actually found a tiny men's mustache comb and it's perfect to get out the eye gunk. I also soak his eye hair before removing the gunk. I use Cloudstar Buddy Wash and use a pea sized amount and lather it in with a small infant toothebrush under his eyes. It's soap free but I still MAKE SURE none of it gets near or in his eyes. I don't feel his face is cleaned properly until I use the Buddy Wash. My husband will hold him and I will rinse his face with a small cup to be sure to not have any water touch his eyes. I get so paranoid! It's a process but I know he loves when his face is clean.
