| New baby is wearing me out Got a new baby c couple wks ago and she is wearing me out. Am I alone or are any other new yorkie mama's also tired. She wakes up every 2-3 hrs. in her crate and I take her out to potty because she's been having loose stools and I don't want her to soil her crate. So when she whines I take her out and she has been pooping 1 or 2 times a night and also wets.I had her tested for coccycidia and such all is neg. Wonderwhen she'll sleep through the night without having to potty she's 12 wks. She sleeps better in our bed but so scared I won't feel her get up and she'll mess on my bed. She's also a little bundle of energy too. Wish I had as much energy at this rate I'm just getting more tired. |

| What food are you feeding her? How often do you feed her? My brats eat at 7:30am and 4:30 pm with snacks throughout the day. I pour their water out at 7pm and take them out every 2 hours so they don't forget where to go..lol.. the last potty break is at 10pm before bed. The type of food she is on can affect her stool and if she is free feeding and eats or drinks right before bed, she will definitely have to go throughout the night. She is still very young so give her time and before you know it, she will be sleeping through the night.. |

| They are all energy at that stage...you are not alone. I would recommend two routine vigorous walks a day. Armani' energy leveled off drastically when she had her spay surgery.

| I am so sorry to hear your struggle. I too have a new baby who is a little older. Boy are they full of enery. I got her at 14 weeks and she is now 19 weeks. I would think in a few more weeks will help. I give Emee her last "snack" at 8:00pm. Then we play, play, play until bedtime...around 10:00pm. She will usually pee and poop....then she is ready for bed. I put her in her crate with a blanket over the top and she sleeps through the night. I hope that she will get the routine soon. It's puppy hood wonderful?

| I have tried to cut herfeedings off by 730 or 8pm but since she is so young I was afraid she might get hypoglycemic in night if I try to cut them off any earlier .What is someone's opinion on this? Also she had nice firm stools when I got her the vet thinks she might be finding crumbs and such we have 3 children but i try to sweep a couple times a day and they are 11,8 and 5 so they understand no feeding the dog table food. Do ya'll think i could stop her feedings any earlier might cut back on night poops.I have to be up at 530 so she eats early weekday mornings. |
