| Any RV fencing ideas??? My husband and I love to take our RV to different state parks. I would like to know if anyone has bought or built some type of portable fence that could enclose the outside living area in front of our rv. It would need to be lightweight and not take up too much room when packed for traveling. I've tried taking an ex-pen, but would really love for them to be able to go out of the rv door into a "fenced yard" area. In other words I want to fence in "my yard" like at home, when I go camping Any ideas??? Thanks! Cathy, mom to Sarge and Little Bit |

| We live full time in our RV. We take ex-pens for the outside part of the fence and use the white plastic type latus that you can get at most home improvement places to "skirt" along the side of the RV that the door is on. We use re-bar to stake the ex-pens and skirting. We made a tube out of PVC that is attached under the trailer to keep the re-bar in when we move. Once you get the skirt cut and figured out, it only take about 1/2 to set it all up. We just use zip ties to hold the skirt pieces and ex-pens together. Works well for us, but we tend to stay put for longer times. Haven't ever had any problems with the Yorkies or the greyhound. Looks funny with a 2 foot fense and a 3 foot dog! |

| Hi there, we have used plastic mesh before. We wrapped it around the legs of our awning and then just drove a few pegs in the ground at the wall of our RV(both ends). It was light, rolled up and fit in the under bunk compartment. Wish I had a picture. Check out my profile page, have an album labeled Eva's Potty Pen....That is the same idea, except with our RV we used a white mesh because it seemed to look better.

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | We have a fifth wheel and take all the furkids. I have 3 exercise pens I put together to go in a big area. Under the steps we attach a hard plastic that is cut to fit the steps. Hubby has holes in it so we just use snap ties to the exercise pens. Viola instint yard! |

| Thanks for the input. I knew there would be some good ideas. The weather was so beautiful in Georgia today, it made me want to get something made so that we could go in the next couple of weeks. Thanks all! Cathy, mom to Sarge and Little Bit |

| This is what my parents use when they camp! They are very affordable and portable. You can hook two together. Very easy! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?dest=9999999997&product_id=8457890&sour ceid=09470641613619516610 |
