| Buying/Selling a puppy in Canada If the dam is Canadian Kennel Club registered and the litter born in Canada, the puppies must be sold with registration papers transferring ownership to the new owner at the expense of the seller. ANyone who is a member in good standing with the CKC who does not do this will lose their membership and rights and priviledges with the CKC. Just a little information for those looking to buy a pet puppy, registration is still a requirement in Canada even if you are not intending to use it for breeding. |
