| We're crazy! Ok, we are officially yorkie obsessed - we are going to get another! We checked out a breeder over the weekend and have decided to get a little girl. We already have a 5 1/2 month old boy named Hercules. We want a little playmate for him. And we just love him so much, we think it would be great to have another yorkie. We're really excited! We figure that since we live in an apartment, we might as well get another while living here, so we can housetrain in the apartment. I know that sounds bad, but oh well! I'm wondering from those of you that have 2 and had to introduce them - what advice do you have? Also, does anyone know their greek and roman mythology very well??? We would like to keep with that type of name, since we already have Hercules. We've done some research, like his first wife was Megara and his second wife was Deianira. But we want the name to be a good one. It doesn't necessarily have to be a wife. Any suggestions?? Let me know! Thanks ahead and thanks for all the help and support yorkie talk continues to provide!

| I found this site with baby girl Greek names. Relating directly to Hercules, there aren't many choices . . . he had 3 wives, an un-godly mother, Zeus' wife (who was Zeus' sister) and that is about it. http://www.babynology.com/greek/baby...irl_A_0_s.html Alexa is cute!

| Thanks, there sure are a lot on that list! I'll tell my boyfriend, so he can go through it too. I like Alexa too. The little girl is really his, since Hercules is mine. So he has the final say, but I know I can be persuasive!

| I don't have any advise regarding the introducing of two Yorkies or names but I did want to say "yeah for you" on getting a little girl for Hercules. Double love, double joy, double smiles, and double puppy pads!!

| Don't consider yourself obsessed consider yourself blessed! The only problem that I had was feeling guilty about leaving Glory in her crate doing the day. Angel is completely housebroken, so he is not in his crate in the daytime only at night. A dog expert reassured me that Glory would not resent Angel for being out in the daytime, whereas she has to be coup up for four hours. He also said that Angel has certain privileges because he is the first-born. He said dogs are not like your three children where everything has to be in equal proportions. Good Luck!! |

| Hello Crazy, Welcome to the yorkie nuthouse.........LOL A boy and girl intro? Let Cupids arrows fly! Boy will probably try to show her whos boss later, but will probably be pretty sweet with the first meetings..........but the girl will probably run the show later. The only thing you may have to watch is the boy trying to mark his territory, but since you dont have another male there Id say it wont be bad. He may never do this since he has no competition. |

| Congratulations on getting a little girl. Hercules will be so happy to have a playmate. Maddie was 9 months when I brought home Rudy, he was 9 weeks. From day one they got along and have been little yorkie terrorist together. When I brought Rudy home I did crate him when I wasn't home didn't think Maddie would do any thing to him but Rudy was a toot from the get go and he would get in to everything. Can't wait to see pic's and see how Hercules likes her little sister...............Cindy |

| Thanks everyone! We are definitely excited, and a little nervous, because I think it will be a handful. But a fun handful. Since Hercules isn't completely housetrained yet, he still stays in the crate. So we're planning on trying to put both of them in the crate. If this seems to be a problem when we are there, then we'll get another crate. Of course we'll slowly introduce the little girl to the crate, so we'll get an idea of how they are.

| Appendages??? I tell you I am envious of you guys that are going to be able to manage two of these little guys and ladies. I use to be of the opinion that the reason I only wanted one or two children at a time is that Noah put the animals on the ark by twos, I have two eyes, two ears and so on and that God gave me two arms, hands to hang on the kiddies. So two was a really good number. I need both feet, arms and anything else I can use to keep up with Sydnee. I find myself praying for nap time like I did with my infant son. The upside is well she is better than any diet and exercise program I know, but two omw I would have to be cloned. Its not like my boys(cats) Daniel and Elmo Squeaker or the big dog (Tahni), these guys go out of their way to let me know that the only thing that they need from me is to remember to grocery shop for them, then prepare it and an occasional pet or snuggle when they think they need to remind me that they do love me so I will continue to adore them. Sydnee is an entity unto herself, well except for the other Yorkies in the world. The others let me keep my liberation Ms. Sydnee however has enslaved me. I think she has my son shopping for my leash and collar today at the mall.

| Yeah! How wonderful! I just told my sister in law (to be) Sat. I wish we could go ahead and get two. We are still waiting on our new dog from the breeder ot replaceor precious Maggie (RIP). She said "Sure, that would go over very well" but the thingis, my husband misses her so much ,too, he said , right afeter she passed, " why don't we go ahead and get another and then when they have one, we'll just have two!. How I wish I had listened!I may try to bring that up again! Anyway, congratulation. I can't wait to see picture! I think Hercules is a doll. I don't know how they relate or anything, but greek names I like are Athena, and shoot, there was something else, but I forgot. OR, you could let her hair grow out and callher Medussa! By the way, is breeding in the future? Or just lots of fun and play?
