| Aggressive Yorkie I have a great Yorkie, Daisy. She is so smart and loves everyone she meets, except another dog! She was 7 months when we got her, and we were house number five. She wasn't housebroken and didn't even know her name "Bella Chanel". So, we changed her name and started loving her. Within a couple of weeks, she knew her name and was house training wonderfully. At first, she wouldn't even come to us she was so scared. My daughter that is living with us due to health reasons had a little chi that got got the first attack, she was 18 years old at the time. Then, at Christmas, Daisy jumped my other daughters schnauzer and left her bleeding, not heeding to the size difference. Now, my daughter has a malti-poo pup and she would love to play with Daisy. When we put them together, Daisy acts like she doesn't know how to play. She is so scared. She has had good days when she will play for up to an hour. She will even submit to the other dogs, rolling fully to her back. She never gives warning before the attacks. We have tried starting out with leashes on one or the other dog, and we have also tried treats for good behavior. We would love to socialize her and for her to be able to enjoy the company of another dog but not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions? Last edited by Lema; 01-30-2010 at 04:19 PM. |

| I would just like to say good luck to you!! Hope that you can get your baby trained. Poor little thing. That's alot of homes when you're only a few months old. I can't even imagine how confused she is. I'm sure there will be advice headed your way! Welcome to YT!!!

| I hope someone here can help you. I just wanted to say I'm so glad she's found a forever home. We need the Dog Whisperer here to help on this one.

| Yes, we are so happy to have her in our home. We knew of her from the initial owners, and the owners prior to us taking her. She is the best baby ever, except for the aggression. Hopefully, someone will be able to help. I know she would love to have a fur friend, and my daughters malti-poo Randi would love it too. We did write the dog whisperer but got no reply |
