| These dogs will be the death of me yet!` So I am sitting here just reading all the posts and the cat makes a weird noise that gets the dogs barking like little crazy dogs. I knew the cat wanted food, so I open the door to get his bowl and Moses flies out the door and takes off across the yard!! I guess he was trying to find whatever made that noise. So here I go, screaming at him and running (which I don't do well) across the yard. He finall stopped, halfway down the yard! I know you aren't supposed to spank, but by golly, I just had to give him a few little pats along with a lot of bad, bad boys. I just now have my breath back. Like I just posted a minute ago, no matter how careful you are, things will happen just like that! Little brat. |

| I know they keep us on our toes and I think they even try to keep us in shape. I have a small baby gate up at our front door for a "just in case" they try to take off. I can not imagine not having yorkies but they know how to be a lil stinker...lol |

Senior Yorkie Talker | POor thing!! I had this happen one time, and you just get so upset/frustrated that popping just comes to mind. ZZ got a smacking good fashion, she was STANDING IN THE ROAD. I had a heartattack, then died, and come back as a very upset girl. I am pretty sure when we got back to the house she knew I was fuming mad. I never scream at her so she knew something was wrong. She spent the rest of the day in the bathroom (her chamber or ill behaviorings) She hasn't done that since.

| You've got that right. The thing is that it never ends with them, either! Thanksgiving Day afternoon, 2008, Kacee went running around her fenced-in yard like a maniac - she saw two strays running across a corner of our yard outside the fence. She completely tore her right rear knee ligaments in two! So, you're right. They'll be the death of you!

♥ Catherine My Love ♥ Donating Member | Just to chime in - in the summer, Catherine likes to go running out the front door and goes after the chickens! The last time she got out, she chased the Rooster and had him pinned under the shed - I was sooo afraid the rooster would get wise and attack hern but I got to her before the rooster did. Now we have gates and she can't get off the porch. Certainly, I have taken off running after her more than once, and a few times in bare feet!

| I think we've all been through a heart racing situation. Kaji once decided he was old enough to go out to potty all by himself. He walked out as my roomie was walking in with her load of laundry. Kaji had just gotten a bath, so he had no ID tags, no identification whatsoever! It took me a good 1/2 hour to find him. I found him as he was walking on our usual path on his way back to our condo. Boy do they play with our emotions!!!!
