| Well I think technically they become adults between 12-18 months of age. Mine will always be fur-babies to me. My friends (non dog owner) always chuckle when I refer to my fur-babies as such.

| my auntie used to be a dog breeder, show dog and trainer of puppies and she said to me once that a puppy becomes a dog at 2 years old because thats when they stop growing and start to calm down a bit x
