| Sophie Kate- The Sunbathing Yorkie All- Just a quick question, Sophie Kate loves to lay in the sun, I always thought it was because of the warmth and was perfectly okay. Well today she was stretched out on the guest bed pillow enjoying her Sunday sunbath and her Dad asked if that was harmful to her? I never thought about it being harmful but his question made me wonder. I know we humans are suppose to limit our exposure to the sun but what about animals? I know some animals live outside and are constantly exposed to the sun. Your thoughts or comments are appreciated. Meanwhile she shall continue her sunbath (I am kind of jealous she looks so content). Thanks, Cheryl

YT 500 Club Member | My two love to stretch out in the sunny patches when the come through the window. One of my other girls Hope[rip] was a real sun worshipper and would complain until you let her out into the garden , two seconds later she'd be on her back soaking up the rays. AS she got older I think it helped relieve any old dog aches and pains. |

| Shouldn't be a problem inside, as most windows are UV-treated, but definitely limit the outdoor exposure because of skin cancer & cataracts. |
