| Anti-Alergy Shampoo (GF is allergic to my puppy?) Originally, I had heard that yorkie were hypo-alergetic. However, it appears as if my gf is allergic to little kona bear. She went to the doctors today and was told she had a dormant allergic reaction meaning that the hair doesn't make her sneeze but rather it hinders her immune system making it vulnerable to other common colds etc... The doctor said there was no way to tell with certainty that it's the dog that is causing issues though.. has anyone heard of someone being allergic to a yorkie? If so, have you heard of this anti-allergy shampoo? My friend was saying you bathe them with it and it fixes the problems?? |

| There is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog. Yorkies and other single coated breeds are less likely to cause an allergic reaction than some other breeds, but it is certainly possible. Has your GF ever had allergy testing? That is the only way to know for sure if she is allergic to dogs. Allergy shots can help. |
