| One more question about poop. How long do they eat it??? He has been on the pineapple for about 3 weeks. He is still eating it sometimes. I give him two chunks in the morning and two at night when I feed him. Should I give him more?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmmm...have you tried Solid Gold's S.E.P. yet? Also, I would probably try changing foods if you haven't yet...do you need suggestions there? If you're feeding a food w/ grains...grain free may do the trick...

| How old is your "poo eater"?LOL Mine quit eating it about 14 months.I don't know if it was just our distasteful faces.Or cleaning it all up so there was not a good supply to eat or age.But they all quit about that age.But I used to have cocker that never quit eating it till the day she died (old age) She liked FROZEN treats the best!

| I think they just grow out of it. Rio ate her poop until about 7 months old. She's 10 months old now, and hasn't eaten her poop in a long time thank goodness! |

| When I saw the title I thought 'there is NO WAY this is gonna be the last question about poop around here.'

| I am not liking the sounds of this. My little Mylee eats hers too! This is the first puppy that I have ever had that does this (at least that did it so freely in front of me). I have never been able to enjoy puppy breath from her because she always smells like poop! I have her on wellness puppy. Sometimes I think she liked it so much the first time that she may as well eat it a second time for good measure! IDK!

| I don't know if you have tried this, but I saw it on Victoria's show. One of the dogs ate too fast, like inhaling his food, causing the body to not digest the food well, so when it came out it still had an enticing food aroma to it, that's why he ate it. Maybe if you have the time to feed him slowly. I often do trick training with Uni during mealtime, so she gets a few kibbles at a time.
