| How did it go with meeting her breeder today? I bet you were super excited when you saw your newest baby! As for her ears...you can shave and then tape the tips. I shaved a little when Livi's baby was young, but not too much because it made me nervous. I ended up using scissors to cut the hair on the ears, both front and back...and I also taped them. Can't wait to see her pictures. |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Thanks! Meeting the breeder went great! I can tell she is a great breeder and really loves her dogs. She was really nice. Oh and she is 10 weeks, both her parents ears are up so..im thinking maybe their just taking long but i dont want to wait too long and then they stay down

| 10 weeks is pretty young for her/his ears to be up. You can tape them--and even then they sometimes go up/down during teething. Keep them shaved and that helps! |

Senior Yorkie Talker | My Callie's ears were up one week and down the next until she stopped teething..I have read that has a lot to do with it. I kept the fur on her ears cut very short during that time (almost shaved) and that helped a lot too. | I just shaved Pixie's ears so that there was no hair hanging off them and I shaved them 1/3 down the ears. I never taped them and by the time she was 5 months they came up. She had 1 ear up at 4 months and the other ear a month later. There are pictures online on how to shave them and how far down to go. Be carfeul bc they move like a dickens when they first hear those clippers.

| I would have shaved them and not worried about the tape quite yet. She's still very young(and cute as a button).
