| Pee in hair? I have been trying to let Tobie's hair grow out to see if I like it but he keeps peeing on himself. I'm constantly bathing him because I notice pee in the hair underneath my his back legs. Does anyone else ever have this problem? Is it normal? I'm starting to think that I'm just going to have to get his hair cut short and keep it that way.

| yup me too. Well Uni is a girl, so when she pees I lift up one leg and her tail and make sure her hair is off the pad. My BIL was making fun of me the other day for doing it, but well she sleeps in bed with me and I don't want a butt full of pee in my face. As for your boy, I have heard of trimming the hair on his weenie into a "pee string". Leave a half an inch to an inch or so tapering to a point and when he goes it will direct the pee straight away from his body.

| For my boys I keep their bellies shaved with the long hair you cant even notice.I also wipe them with a baby wipe everytime they come inside from going potty.

| I meant to get baby wipes the last time I was at the store because I was going to try that. I will try shaving his belly and keeping the pee string and see if that works. If not, I guess it's off to the groomer for the puppy cut.

| Scooter is a champ at peeing on himself. Even though he's trimmed fairly short all over and his tummy is shaved, he still gets pee on the inside of his legs. I use the baby wipes too. They are the best thing ever invented for cleaning up various doggie parts.
