| How YT helped you in 2009 After reading Lulumom's thread I thought it'd be fun to read other's stories about how YT made a difference in you and your yorkies lives in 2009. For me YTer's educated me on watching out for hypoglycemia with Bijou. When she broke her leg at just 9 weeks old her gums turned so white. I gave her some Nutrical and rushed her to my vet's office. We made it there in ten minutes and by then her gums were pink again. With out YTer's helpful information Bijou could have easily died that day. Thank you all for making me a better, more knowledgeable yorkie momma!!!! I'd love to read other stories on how this wonderful forum has helped you to become a better pet parent. Happy New Year

| Thanks to YT I found my healthy, happy, puppy "Wyatt". He was from a YT breeder (TJDmom). I would never get another Yorkie from any other place than YT. Thanks Theresa, you raised a winner in my eyes. I have learned so much on this site. I have another yorkie from a breeder who was not as diligent and he has not been as healthy. It pays to do your homework when looking for a dog. I also, have met some wonderful caring yorkie lovers. Happy New Year to everyone. |

| Just the information I have learned over the past year has been unbelievable. I found Yorkietalk when trying to find information about a broken leg on my new puppy. That was in March. A lot of what I have learned has been very informative, a lot has been very scary. Sometimes you feel ignorance is bliss and some of the things we have let our little dogs do in the past just scares me to think of now. It's a wonder they made it! But this is a great place and you learn more everyday. |

| Not only has YT been a great resource of information in raising my puppy, it kept me company while I was recovering as well. I have met alot of wonderful helpful people. I have not had a dog since I was a small child and learing about proper nutrition, shots that should and shouldnt be given and when was certainly most helpful. I love this sight it is really filled with really caring people!! Thanks YT for all the help in 2009

| Thanks to YT...I found the PERFECT dog! I learned how to make him feel at home, what to ask the vet when I took him to be neutered, what to do when he was coughing, and a myriad of other things! Finally I found out that yorkies must only choose humans that are the best people in the world if the folks here are any indication!

YT 500 Club Member | Thanks to YT I've met lots of new friends who dont pull faces when I go on about my beloved breed, also lots of info that was totally new, proving you just never stop learning if you care enough about something. I've read lots of stories, some sad and some happy, but most of all I found a great comunity of people all with one passion. |

| I found lots of people who love their dog as much as me, who don't complain that my baby sleeps in my bed, that have great advice on just about anything and take the trouble to share their experience with me. Love it! Hugs for the noughties (naughties). xx |

| I used YT to help decide on what food to use when I got my puppy. It's been a resourceful tool ever since. It has also helped me find more places to spend money.

| There are so many things that YT has helped us with....hypoglycemia awareness, vaccinations, surgeries (spay and broken leg), dental care, grooming techniques, training, and good quality food. I also couldn't live without the wonderful vendors who've supplied us with bedding, harnesses, rubber bands and bows, treats, and CLOTHES!

| YorkieTalk OMG! Where do I begin? I decided I wanted a Yorkie after visiting with friends that had two. We had always had labs and I knew nothing about small dogs. I found this site and learned soooo much and am still learning. It's unbelieveable that you can sign on anytime of day or night and there is someone always on and so willing to help with any question you could have. Everything I've done or know about my furbaby has come from this site. I don't get to post much but love everyone of you and LOVE this site. Thanks so much and Happy New Year to everyone!! |

| I found YT while I was helping my friend look for a puppy. The thought of getting a puppy for myself had never entered my mind. I looked at pictures, watched the videos and read all the stories and great info on yorkies. Well long story short, I am the proud momma of Daisy who turned 9 months old today. She has brought such joy into our home. My husband wasn't happy that I brought another dog home but within a month or so she had won over my non dog person husband. That was quite a big job for such a small dog. Oh, my friend did find the puppy of her dreams. She is also a member of YT. So thanks Yorkie Talk!!! |

| First and foremost, without YT, I wouldn't even have have a Yorkie! I am so grateful for everyone on here. If I hadn't found Betty (aka tortoisekeeper), I wouldn't have my Sophie Belle. If I didn't have some of the others, I would have worried myself (and the vet) sick over little things. I love my YT friends and even though I've never met most of you face to face, I feel like I have lots of good friends here. So I wish each and every one of you a happy and prosperous New Year! |
