| Wow! Dogs are so intuitive! So, I am at my parent's house for, well since, the holidays. For those of you that don't know, I use a wheelchair (fell from my horse right out of high school.. sucks. Anyway..) This morning, I was getting dressed & Pippi was, as usual 'observing', waiting to jump up to my lap. I lost my balance and was falling when I shouted, 'mom! mom!'. Pippi ran out and 2 seconds later, my mother *runs* in. She said she was in the bathroom at the other side of the house and she said Pip was furiously scratching on the door, then 'led' her to me! What a pal! I should've named her Lassie - haha |

| dogs to the rescue Dogs are the most physic animals alive. It's unreal what some have been trained to do. My husband was just telling me about a guy he met who has a Yorkie mix who is hes service dog. The guy has a real problem with his diabetes and low blood sugar. The dog alerts to him when his blood sugar is getting too low. I have diabetes too, maybe that's why Belle is always licking me, seeing if I taste sweet or not Many dogs can sense when a person is sick or dying. It's wonderful to have such a special connection with our little ones. |
