| What would you do?! Something happened the other day and I'd like some insights. I was walking at the mall with my little boy walking by me (leashed) and this little boy just came up and KICKED my puppy!!! The father of the child said something to the boy in Spanish and walked off WITHOUT apologizing!! What would you do? I didn't want to be mean so I let it go. However, it really ticked me off! |

| I was in a similar situation. I was in petsmart looking at the guinea pigs and about 5 little kids came running up and circled Chip and started pulling his hair and squealing really loudly. I grabbed him up so fast and scolded the kids and told them that they should never treat an animal like that. Of course, their parents were no where in sight. That infuriates me!!!

| OMG that's terrible! Did the father seem angry at the boy? Sometimes parents will just be mad at the kids and not even realize they needed to apologize for them. Is your baby ok???

| yeah my baby was okay, but he got scared. No the father seemed more of like "hurry up and run" expression. Next time I will yell if this ever occur again, it pissed me off! Why would anyone, esp. a kid, kick an innocent puppy?! My puppy wasn't even near him, he came up and kicked him! That's what infuriated me. |

If it were me, I wouldn't have ran after them, but I sure would have yelled something to them as they ran away. Glad you baby is ok.

| How disheartening I am glad your little one is okay and hope he isn't scarred. What causes such inhumane actions??? I would like to think that the father took appropriate action after the fact but hard to say. Is 'somewhat' easy for me to stand on the outside looking in and hoping and assuming... but I must admit ---- I think my gutt would be to go and kick the father

| Shame on that boy and his father. I would have yelled at them both. I hope that boy doesn't have any animals of his own. I would hate to see how he treats them.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Omg....what would I DO? I honestly cannot even say...bc if someone kicked my baby right in front of me...oh boy...I have never been close to being in that situation...but I'm pretty sure I would be VERY upset and it would be one thing that would really trigger a loud response in me, when I would normally *never* get loud. I'm SO SORRY that happened to your baby . Horrible.

| Well I blame the parents. That kid will turn into a nasty youth and an even nastier adult. I would have gone mad at the boy and the father. How dare people think they can just do as they please with no regard for others. I do hope your little one is ok. |

| Oh WOW! I am so sorry this happened. I have no idea what I would do. Believe me, I work with kids and see 'poor parenting' like you'd never believe. I guess take this as a lesson learned and be thankful your baby wasn't hurt is all you can do. I always carry Maddie in stores, thus, need to get a stroller. |
