| Just saying hello :) Hello Everyone! My name is Sarah and I just joined YT. I am from North East Tennessee. Molly is my Yorkie. She is 2 years old and I just adopted her from a family who could no longer keep her. I am totally in love! She is so different than any of my other dogs. She is already my little shadow. She is getting along famously with my other pets and just fits in great! I will also mention my other pets are Toby a 2 y/o Pom mix, Rachel a 10 y/o Collie, and Mr. Beasley a 4 y/o Persian. Molly has her first vet app. next week. She is up to date on everything but I am worried because she seems very underweight. She has been on crap food so I am guessing this accounts for some of it. Does anyone have any tips (food suggestions homemade or bagged either is fine I am willing to do whatever it takes) to help her get some healthy weight put on? When I feel her I can feel pretty much all the bones along her back and can see her hip bones. She was eating a Food City take off of Kibbles and Bits (I know I know TERRIBLE). I have only had her for a couple of days so have not switched her food just yet because I wanted to get some guidance on what would be best to switch her too considering I have heard to Yorkies can be very sensitive to protein and such. Any help would be much appreciated! Anyway I really look forward to getting to know everyone here! If anyone has any insight into how I can help Miss Molly please get in touch with me. PS: I will add some pictures later tonight. |

| Molly weighs just a little under 4 pounds. Her vet records show she weighed 4 pounds in July. |

| Well they have tried all of them, but the one with bison in the yellow bag is their favorite.

| Thank you so much! I will be looking into this because it is very easy for me to get. Other foods I have been having to drive to Johnson City to get. Do you add anything else to their diet other than this? |

| Pictures of Molly! Here are the pictures of Molly as promised The first is her the day I first got her before I groomed her. The second is after I tried my hand at grooming her lol. The other doggy in the picture with her is Toby my other doggy. He is a pom mix. He came from a very sad situation. His old owner was a drug addict. He was skinny matted and nasty when I bought him from her. She worked at a local call center and had lost her home. Well anyway after a long drawn out process of her trying to get him back after I paid her for him he finally is safe from her forever. She was a loon let me tell ya. She said I could not take him out on a leash.... "the hawks would get him". This is why she claimed he was never house trained. She refused to feed him dog food so she fed him canned cat food & table scraps. Needless to say he has a very sensitive tummy now. Within one week Toby was crate trained and goes outside with my Collie like a champ . This little boy is my world let me tell ya. He just broke my heart when I saw how badly he was being cared for. Please excuse the shaved nose haha I groomed her and thought that was how it was supposed to be done silly me. The last picture is just one I took of her outside after we got her a harness. She was being dragged on a collar and the poor little thing would cough every single time they tugged. Poor girl Again... ignore the grooming job lol it was my first attempt at doing more than a lion cut on my persian. |

| Hi and welcome to YT. You'll definitely learn a lot on here. There are lots of different ideas on food. I feed Natural Balance Rolls. This seems the only food that my 2 consistently eat. Molly is very lucky to have found you.
