| will it ever grow back!!! i tok my boy to the groomer for the first time about 3 months ago. i had never had a small puppy before, so i asked a friend with a yorkie what to ask for. she sent me to her groomer and told me to ask for a summer cut. well he chopped off all his hair . at first i was furious but ive gotten over it now. my question is when will it grow completely back. when i posted my outrage after i picked him up, someone said it would grow back in a few months. to me 3 months later he still looks the same. maybe his hair has grown out a little but not much. do i need to give him something to make it grow or will it grow back on its own in time.

| Poor thing, I can't really answer your ?, but I'm sure he looks cute. Most people don't understand why we get so upset over a hair cut. I took Lexi to a groomer just to have her ears plucked, toenails clipped, and pawpads cleaned up. The woman who did it cut her hair all over (face and body). I was fuming and she says I just trimmed her a tiny bit. urghhh

| I bet your babies hair will grow back just in time for the winter I dont know of anything to give them to promote hair growth but recently Missy started shedding (alergic reaction) and her vet and a few show breeders I met reccomended along I give her Derm Caps & or Salmon Oil. The Derm Caps is to promote healthy skin which in turn can grow healthy hair and the Salmon Oil is for healthy hair. Maybe you can do a google search on them or start a new thread about those products and see if anyone here has used them. I havent bought them yet so I cant give you my review but I do plan on getting the Derm Caps, I imagine with healthy skin will come healthy hair

| I get Princess the summer cut in June because it's so hot here, By Christmas she has her full coat. Just takes time, I'm sure it will grow back soon.

| This happened to me, not once but twice. I've never been so mad. I went through 4 groomers before landing one who is terrific. Chloe was a cute little furbaby with dark hair and when I picked her up, she looked like a rat, I could see her pink skin. It took forever for her to grow and when she did, she was silver and light beige. It broke my heart. So, with Lacey I took a picture of what I wanted both Chloe and Lacey to look like and they do, they're adorable, but I swear it was almost a year before Chloe got her hair back. |

| personally, i like the standard puppy cut. it's easier to take care of and keep clean, and Bob seems to like it better, too. he's not wild about baths at all, and when his hair is longer he needs one-a-week. with the puppy cut, he can go two weeks. and he would kill me in my sleep if i tried to put a bow in his hair. i'm sure of it. is a summer cut shorter than a puppy cut? |
