| Introduction - new member Hi Everyone, I'm a new mommy all the way from South Africa and just thought i'd introduce myself as i found this site very helpful and fun. My boy is 11 weeks old and i got him as a birthday gift from my boyfriend about a week ago. I just took him for his 2nd vaccination on the weekend and check up and he is in good condition. He weighs about 1.8 kg. He is soo adorable but super hyper- active. I cannot keep up with him and he can't even sit still for more than a min. I'm forever saying "stop and no"..Lol. will he grow out of it??? I'm still trying to potty train or housebreak him so i'll be patient and hope for the best with the help of every mommy and daddy here. Thanks for the great site.. Sammy's mom. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome and congratulations!!! Sounds like Sammy is a happy healthy puppy. They do settle down as they get older. Playing fetch helps burn off some energy, just have lots of toys to keep his attention.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. You will find this site loaded with advice and friends. Puppyhood is fun and exhausting...especially with a yorkie puppy. Patience is the number 1 ingredient. They grow so fast and out of puppyhood. Enjoy and welcome!

| Welcome to YT. Yes, terriers can be curious and very energetic. I love to watch my 2 along with with my son's rat terrier/jack russell mix run in the back yard. They are everywhere.
